How to Request a Feature in the App
Do you have an idea? We want to hear it! We're always looking for new ways to improve Fitbod. We at Fitbod appreciate and are open to feature ideas and requests from our users!
Please feel free to email us your request at feedback@fitbod.me and put 'Feature Request" as the subject.
***Important Note:
We get A LOT of requests and we do consider each one we receive, but please keep in mind that decisions made about what features are implemented into the app are based on request frequency and whether we believe it falls under Fitbod's mission.
FAQ
I don't see an exercise I want to do in the app. Can I create my own?
As of right now, the option to create your own exercises in the app is not a part of our immediate roadmap. This is because we assign specific values to each muscle group for every exercise, and we integrate those values into our algorithm. Adding user-created exercises into the library can create inconsistencies and make the app's recommended workout less effective.
However, this could change in the future depending on our product roadmap and strategy. If either shift and this becomes a priority, our teams will work hard to effectively incorporate custom exercises.
Why can't I record activities like yoga, basketball, and etc?
We've received requests to add activities like rock climbing, yoga, soccer, and basketball. While we would love to include them, they're highly variable movements that are difficult to quantify and could affect the accuracy of the algorithm. However, while we continuously strive to enhance our offerings at Fitbod, the inclusion of these activities in the future will depend on various factors and feasibility.

Equipment Mapping for Multi-functional Gym Systems
Table Contents
M2
Introduction
In this article, you'll find a list of multi-functional gym systems along with their functions as individual pieces of equipment available in Fitbod. Unfortunately, systems will not officially make it into the app in the near future but that doesn't mean you can't use it with Fitbod!
With this list, you can easily mark the individual pieces of equipment you have in Fitbod that correspond to the functions of your multi-functional system. If your system is not listed below, please reach out to our Support Team at support@fitbod.me.
Important Note:
***Please keep in mind that not all exercises pertaining to an individual piece of equipment can be performed with your gym system due to position or arrangement. If you aren't able to perform a certain exercise due to these constraints, you can exclude the exercise from your program. To learn more about how to exclude exercises from your program, please visit our Your Gym Profile: Excluded Exercises article.
