• How to Update Your Credit Card or Billing Information

    You can update your billing details based on where you originally subscribed to Fitbod: Apple (iTunes), Google Play Store, or the Fitbod website.

     

    ⚠️ Important Note: If your payment is past due, it may take up to 24 hours for the system to retry after updating your billing info. If it’s been more than 24 hours and your subscription is still marked as “Past Due,” please contact us at support@fitbod.me.

    🌐 If You Subscribed via the Fitbod Website

    1. Go to https://app.fitbod.me/billing.
    2. Sign in to your Fitbod account.
    3. Select Change Billing Info.
    4. Update your credit card details and save.

     

    🍎 If You Subscribed via Apple's App Store (iOS)

    To update your payment method:

    1. Open your iOS Settings.
    2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
    3. Select Payment & Shipping.
    4. Tap Payment Method to update your billing info.

    On an Android device:

    1. Open the Google Play Store.
    2. Tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions.
    3. Select Payment methods.
    4. Tap the method you want to update > Edit.
    5. Make your changes and tap Update.

     

    On a computer:

    1. Visit play.google.com.
    2. Click Payment methods from the left menu.
    3. Select a method to update > Edit.
    4. Save your changes.

    What are app push notifications?

    • They are push notifications that the Fitbod app sends to you directly. They are NOT marketing communications. Instead, these app push notifications are things like your workout previews, goal reminders, rest timers, etc. 
      • To unsubscribe from these, adjust the settings in your Fitbod app

    Switching between an iPhone to an Android device? No problem! You can use your Fitbod account and continue your fitness journey seamlessly. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth transition.

    How to Transfer Your Account

    Step 1: Log in on Your New Device

    1. Download the Fitbod app.
    2. Open the app and log into your Fitbod account using the same credentials and sign-in method as you did on your previous device.

    ***Important Note: If you used Sign in with Apple, you may need to update your email before logging in (see below).

     

    Step 2: Update Your Email (For Private Relay / Apple ID Users)

    If you signed up with Sign in with Apple and used a private relay email (e.g., xxxxxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com), you must update your email before logging in on Android.

     

    How to Update Your Private Relay Email

    1. Contact Fitbod Support at support@fitbod.me.
    2. Provide your current Apple ID email and the new email you want to use.
    3. Our team will update your account and send you a password reset link.
    4. Once updated, log in to Fitbod on your Android device using your new email and password.

     

    Step 3: Transfer Your Subscription

    Your Fitbod subscription remains active across both iOS and Android, allowing you to use the app on any platform as long as your subscription is valid. However, for easier subscription management, we recommend subscribing through the platform of your current device or via the Fitbod website.

    If you wish to switch your subscription to a different platform, follow these steps:

    1. Cancel your current subscription through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period.
    2. Wait for your current subscription to expire to avoid being charged twice.
    3. Resubscribe on your new platform via the Google Play StoreApp Store, or directly through the Fitbod website for easier cross-platform access and management.

    If you wish to permanently delete your Fitbod account, this guide will walk you through the process and provide key details about what information will be deleted.

     

    ***Important Notes:

    • Permanently deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active Fitbod subscriptions. To avoid future charges, you must cancel your subscription separately.

    • Once your account is deleted, all associated data (such as workout history and saved preferences) will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

     

    Steps to Permanently Delete Your Fitbod Account

    1. Open the Fitbod app.
    2. Navigate to the Log tab at the bottom of the screen.
    3. Select the Settings icon (top right corner).
    4. Scroll down to the Account section.
    5. Select Permanently Delete Account and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.

    By following these steps, you can ensure your account is fully deleted. Don’t forget to cancel any active subscriptions separately to avoid future charges.

    By choosing 'OK,' you affirm your decision to permanently delete your account. This cannot be undone. So, please double-check, as all records, streaks, and data will be gone.
