How to Change your Workout Settings using Quick Edits
What this Means for Gym Profiles
Introduction
You can now edit your workout settings for ad hoc and one-off workouts on the fly without having to permanently change your Gym Profile. Selections made within the Quick Edits menu are not saved, they only apply to the current workout (we may enable saving at a later time). As of right now, use Quick Edits to:
- Change your workout duration when you have less or more time in your day
- Change the focus of your workout when you're in the mood for something different
Quick Edits is still in active development, we've released the feature with workout duration and muscle selection to start but we'll be quickly adding new settings and features to the menu based on customer feedback. Share your thoughts on what the menu should include by answering the short survey within the menu.
How to Find the Quick Edits Menu
On iOS
The Quick Edits menu can be found right above the Target Muscles (please see the image below for reference). That way it's always readily available when you need to make those quick changes to your workout.
On Android
We're sorry, Quicks Edits is not available on Android just yet! Our team is hard at work to bring the best features to match the iOS app experience. To see other features that are on our roadmap for Android, please visit our Plans for Android page.
How to Change your Workout Settings using Quick Edits
On iOS
At launch, Quick Edits will feature two settings - workout duration and muscle group selection. It will also include a link to a survey about what you'd like to see in the Quick Edits menu. As mentioned previously, Quick Edits will not save changes to your Gym Profile but only to the current workout.
Just like the Workout Duration setting in your Gym Profile, you can customize your workouts to fit the amount of time you have available to exercise. Quick Edits provides the benefit of being able to quickly adjust that time for those moments when you need to make a quick adjustment.
Muscle selections work just like the muscle picker in the Workout Tab above your current workout. The muscles you select in this menu are the ones that will be used to generate your workout.
Do you have a specific setting you'd like to see added to the Quick Edits menu? The survey link in the menu is your opportunity to vote on the workout settings you'd like to see added to this menu.

What this Means for Gym Profiles
Gym Profiles are still your go-to spot for tailoring Fitbod to your unique fitness preference. Editing your Gym Profile allows you to further personalize your program to better fit your workout style, likes, and dislikes. So while Quick Edits allows you to customize your current workout only, your Gym Profile allows you to customize your entire Fitbod experience.
