Have you made or would like to make the switch from iOS to Android? In this article, you will find information that will help you make the switch easy.
At this time, the Android and iOS versions of Fitbod are separate platforms and we do not support back and forth compatibility. What this means is they will not sync subscriptions or workout data automatically. Please view the options below to assist you with getting set up on Android.

Your iOS account is associated with email/password
If you originally signed up on iOS using your email/password, all you need to do is simply sign in with the same login credentials on your Android device.
Your iOS account is associated with Apple ID or Facebook
If you originally signed up using Apple ID or Facebook, then you will need to unlink the account from your Fitbod account. In order to unlink your Apple ID or Facebook account, you must be logged in to Fitbod through that account on your iOS device, then follow the below steps:
- Open the Fitbod settings menu
- Tap on your email address (under Account)
- Select the button that says "Unlink"
You will then be prompted to update your account with an email and password. Once this is done you can now sign into the Android version of the app using the new email and password you just created. When you sign into Android you will be prompted to migrate your workout data across simply select this option and the app will do the rest.
Logging into your account on Android
When you first log into Android from an account created on iOS you will be prompted to transfer your workout data across. After this initial transfer, your workouts will not sync between the platforms again. For example, completing a workout on iOS will not sync the workout to Android, and completing a workout on Android will not sync the workout to iOS.
If you have multiple Your Gym profiles these will also not sync from iOS to Android as Android does not currently support this feature as of right now. To see what we are planning for our Android app and get more information about what features are coming, please visit our Plans for Android page.
How to transfer your active subscription
Currently, subscriptions you have signed up for through the App Store on iOS and those purchased through our website, including gift subscriptions purchased prior to creating your Android account will not transfer to Android automatically. If this is the case for you, please email us at support@fitbod.me.
The good news is we are working to change this so, in the future, no matter what device you use or platform you switch between you will have one account that syncs your workout and subscription across all platforms.
