Warm-up sets are sets with lighter weights you perform before the main working sets. Warm-up sets help your body prepare for heavier lifts by loosening your joints, raising your heart rate, and boosting blood flow to your muscles, reducing the risk of injury!
With Fitbod, the first time you toggle warm-up sets on you get a recommended weight scheme that builds up to your working weight for any exercise. Warm-up sets are not recommended for every exercise and can vary depending on the exercise and the weight being lifted. Exercises like squats or deadlifts may require more warm-up sets, while lighter exercises may only need one or two.
