Unit of Measurement: FAQ
Can I set different units of measurement for different gym profiles?
Currently, the Unit of Measurement setting applies globally across all gym profiles. However, we are considering adding the ability to set different units for each gym profile based on user feedback.
Can I use a hybrid system (e.g., lbs for weights, km for distance)?
At this time, Fitbod does not support a hybrid metric/imperial system. All measurements (weight, distance, etc.) follow the selected unit of measurement.
Will my past workouts update if I change the unit of measurement?
No, changing the Unit of Measurement will not retroactively update past workout logs. Your previous workouts will remain in the unit they were originally logged in.
Why did my saved weights change after switching units?
If you switch from lbs to kgs (or vice versa) and then switch back, some saved weights may be adjusted due to rounding differences. We are currently aware of the issue and are working on fixing it! In the meantime, you can attempt the following steps to resolve it:
Steps to Correct the Issue
- Open the app and navigate to Settings.
- Select Unit of Measurement.
- Choose Lbs (Pounds) as the unit.
- Press Back to return to the previous screen.
- Go to Unit of Measurement again.
- Switch to Kgs (Kilograms).
- Press Back to save the setting.
- Restart the app and check if the issue is resolved.
